Once you have created all your survey questions and filled in the email template and description, you can proceed to send the survey. Here’s how to do it:
- Save Your Data: Ensure that all your survey questions, email template content, and descriptions are saved.
- Navigate to Send Survey Section: Scroll down to the bottom area of the survey page where the Send Survey column is located.
- Select Mailing Lists: Choose the desired mailing lists from which you want to send the survey. There are three fixed mailing lists available:
- Staff
- Clients
- Leads
- Click Send: After selecting the appropriate mailing lists, click on the Send button to initiate the survey distribution.
Important Note on Email Sending
- CRON JOB for Sending Emails: Survey emails will be sent via a CRON job. The number of emails sent per hour can be configured in Setup -> Settings -> Cron Job -> Surveys.
- Email Sending Limitations: The hourly sending limit is in place because most hosting providers impose restrictions on the number of emails that can be sent per hour. This helps prevent issues with email deliverability and ensures compliance with email sending policies.
